21.9.2020 | The Coastal Fleet’s mine countermeasures vessel Vahterpää continues the autumn NRF training period alongside the Standing NATO Mine Countermeasures Group 1 (SNMCMG1) in the Baltic Sea until the 4 October before returning to Finland.

26.5.2020 | The Navy will participate in the Baltops 20 maritime exercise from 5 - 16 June 2020 with mine countermeasures vessel Purunpää, which will operate alongside the Standing NATO Mine Countermeasures Group 1.

5.7.2018 | Finnish Navy will execute exercise PASSEX together with Royal Navy vessel HMS Montrose from the Great Britain July 6 - 7 2018. The exercise will be held in the Northern Baltic Sea.

22.9.2016 | FNS Uusimaa will participate in the Noble Mariner 16 exercise in October. The exercise is held in Irish and British territorial waters. A great part of the exercise troops will consist of reservists. During the exercise the vessel will undergo a NATO Evaluation Level 2 (NEL2).

24.8.2017 | The exercise Northern Coasts (NOCO-17) will be arranged between 8 September and 21 September 2017 in Sweden. The exercise is the German navy´s international invitation exercise for NATO and EU countries, as well as for NATO partner nations. The exercise is led by Sweden and there will be 16 participating countries.
