8.6.2026 | Naton transformaatiojohtoportaan (Allied Command Transformation, ACT) Layered Counter-UAS Initiative (LCI-X) -aloite vauhdittaa liittokunnan kykyä vastata nopeasti kehittyvään drooniuhkaan. Aloitteen testaustapahtumien sarja toteutetaan Suomessa neljällä paikkakunnalla; Riihimäellä, Turussa, Oulussa ja Joensuussa. Tapahtumat järjestetään 1.–10.6.2026, ja niissä testataan uusia innovatiivisia ratkaisuja droonien havaitsemiseen ja tuhoamiseen sekä seuraavan sukupolven viestintä- ja tiedonsiirtoon.

21.5.2026 | Merivoimille rakennettavan Pohjanmaa-luokan toinen monitoimikorvetti on laskettu vesille Raumalla. Alus siirrettiin rakennushallista telakka-altaaseen, missä rakentaminen ja varustelu jatkuvat. Juhlallista vesillelaskuseremoniaa vietettiin Raumalla 21.5.

16.10.2025 | Kuluneen vuoden aikana laivasto on tehokkaasti jatkanut toimintaansa niin kotimaassa kuin kansainvälisesti Naton laivasto-osastoissa. Laivue 2020-hankkeen myötä hyvää vauhtia valmistuvat Pohjanmaa-luokan monitoimikorvetit tulevat viemään Suomen meripuolustuksen uudelle tasolle.

21.5.2025 | Merivoimille rakennettavan Pohjanmaa-luokan ensimmäinen monitoimikorvetti on laskettu vesille Raumalla. Alus siirrettiin toukokuun alussa rakennushallista telakka-altaaseen, missä rakentaminen ja varustelu jatkuvat. Juhlallista vesillelaskuseremoniaa vietettiin Raumalla 21.5.

9.10.2024 | Rauma Marine Constructions Oy (RMC Defence Oy) on aloittanut toisen Laivue 2020 -hankkeen monitoimikorvetin tuotannon. Laivueen toisen aluksen rungon teräsrakenteiden leikkaaminen alkoi Raumalla kutsuvieraiden läsnäollessa tänään 9.10.24.

30.10.2023 | Rauma Marine Constructions Oy (RMC Defence Oy) on aloittanut ensimmäisen Laivue 2020 -hankkeen monitoimikorvetin tuotannon. Laivue 2020 -hankkessa rakennetaan neljä Itämeren vaihteleviin olosuhteisiin suunniteltua monitoimikorvettia. Maailmanlaajuisesti ainutlaatuiset taistelualukset rakennetaan turvallisuussyistä uuden monitoimihallin sisällä.

11.4.2024 | Laivue 2020 -hankkeen ensimmäisen monitoimikorvetin rakentaminen on edennyt kölinlaskuvaiheeseen. Perinteistä kölinlaskuseremoniaa juhlittiin Rauman telakalla torstaina 11.4.2024.

8.6.2026 | Layered Counter-UAS Initiative, known as LCI-X, is a NATO Allied Command Transformation (ACT) initiative that enhances the Alliance’s capability to respond to a rapidly evolving UAS threat. A series of LCI-X-related testing events are carried out in Finland in four towns: Riihimäki, Turku, Oulu and Joensuu.
