The Naval Academy prepares professionals for service at sea and on the coast

Naval Cadets study at the Naval Academy to become officers, enlisted personnel to become petty officers and conscripts to become reserve officers in the Finnish Navy. Also, most of Navy research is done at the Naval Academy.

In addition, regular personnel and reservists attend our further training courses. We train respected and highly motivated professionals for various tasks in the Navy. Both our education and research are internationally networked.
