21.5.2026 | The second Pohjanmaa-class multi-role corvette to be built for the Navy has been launched in Rauma. The vessel was moved from the construction hall to the dock basin where the building and outfitting of the vessel will continue. 12.5.2026 | The NATO defence alliance's joint operational doctrine working meeting will be held for the first time in Helsinki from 12 to 14 May 2026. The purpose is to enhance interoperability among NATO member countries by standardising common doctrines and the associated terminology. 26.10.2023 | A detachment from the United States Marine Corps, Combat Logistics Battalion 6 has arrived in Finland for a time of approximately two months. The detachment will train together with Nyland Brigade from the end of October until the beginning of December. 16.4.2022 | The Finnish Navy carried out a PASSEX exercise with Danish frigate Esbern Snare in the Baltic Sea from 10 to 16 April 2022.
