  7. Nordic Cadet Meeting (NOCA) will be held in Turku on 7-11 August 2024. NOCA is an annual sports and seminar event for naval cadets, organized by each Nordic country in alternate years.

  8. The National Parade of the Flag Day of the Finnish Defence Forces will be held in Hanko on 4 June 2024. In addition to a review of troops and pass in review, the programme also includes an equipment display, boat rides, an aerobatic air display and a MILjazz Tour concert, among other things.   12. 26.10.2023 | A detachment from the United States Marine Corps, Combat Logistics Battalion 6 has arrived in Finland for a time of approximately two months. The detachment will train together with Nyland Brigade from the end of October until the beginning of December. This stay is a continuation of our cooperation last year, when a smaller unit from the same battalion trained together with Nyland Brigade in the autumn.

  13. 13.4.2023 | Two frigates deployed with Standing NATO Maritime Group 1 (SNMG1) visit Helsinki from 13th to 16th April 2023. Before arrival they participated in an exercise organized by the Coastal Fleet. This was the first time for Finland and for Coastal Fleet to conduct an exercise and a visit as Finland being an Ally of NATO.

  16. 17.10.2018 | Northern Coasts 18 (NOCO18) led by the Finnish Navy, will take place in Finland from 25 October to 8 November 2018. About 4.000 persons and dozens of surface vessels and aircraft will participate in the exercise.

  18. 25.4.2022 | Standing NATO Mine Countermeasures Group 1 (SNMCMG1) visits Turku 25 - 27 April 2022. After the visit the SNMCMG1 will participate in an exercise lead by the Coastal Fleet in the Archipelago Sea 28 - 29 April 2022. The exercise prepares the Katanpää-class Mine Hunters for the upcoming NRF readiness rotation activities.

  19. 4.4.2022 | Two Hamina-class fast-attack craft of the Finnish Navy will take part in the Marinens vårövning exercise organised by the Swedish Navy 4-8 April 2022 off the east coast of Sweden.

  20. 10.12.2020 | Finland and Sweden held a combined maritime-surveillance-cooperation exercise at the entrance of the Gulf of Finland 8–9 December 2020. The bilateral exercise developed interoperability between the Finnish and Swedish navies in the areas of maritime surveillance and sharing Recognised Maritime Picture.
