8.5.2026 | The commander of The Bundeswehr Joint Force Command, Lieutenant General Alexander Sollfrank, along with a delegation, visited Finland on 7-8 May 2026. The host of the visit was the Finnish Defence Forces Deputy Chief of Staff, Operations, Lieutenant General Kari Nisula.

22.4.2026 | Standing NATO Maritime Group 1, (SNMG1), will conduct a scheduled port visit in Turku arriving on 22 Apr 2026, Commanded by Commodore Maryla Ingham, Royal Navy, on the flagship German frigate FGS Sachsen and Portuguese frigate NRP Dom Francisco de Almeida. The vessels will moor at Turku harbor.

French Navy's Aquitane-class frigate FS Auvergne is to visit Helsinki from 24th to 27th June 2023.

Italian Navy’s FREMM -class frigate Antonio Marceglia is to visit Helsinki from 26th to 30th August 2023

French Navy's Aquitaine-class frigate FS Aquitaine arrives in Helsinki for a scheduled port visit on March 1.

Finland is honored to receive an Ally for a port visit. United States Navy’s Aegis guided-missile destroyer, USS Bainbridge, will moor at Hernesaari port in Helsinki on Sept 14 2025. The vessel will not be open to the public during this routine call.

Italian Navy’s frigate ITS Luigi Rizzo will conduct a port visit in Helsinki from 30 Apr to 6 May 2024.

Standing NATO Maritime Group 1 (SNMG1) will conduct a scheduled port visit in Helsinki arriving on 12 April with its flagship, the Spanish frigate ESPS Almirante Juan de Borbón and the German supply ship FGS Rhoen.

Finland will receive a French Ally for a scheduled port visit in Helsinki. The French Navy’s light stealth frigate FS Aconit will moor at Hernesaari port on May 9-12 2025. The ship will not be open to the public.

The German Navy's Training Tall Ship Gorch Fock is visiting Helsinki 28 August-1 September 2022. The ship, which is almost 90 metres long, will berth at Katajanokka during the visit.

Finland will receive a French Ally for a scheduled port visit. The French Navy’s minehunter FS Sagittaire will moor at port of Turku from October 4-7, 2024. The ship will not be open to the public.

Three Elbe class command and supply vessels of the German Navy, FGS Rhein, FGS Donau and FGS Werra, will arrive in Turku for a scheduled port visit on November 10-13 2023.

A British type 45 destroyer HMS Diamond will arrive in Turku for a scheduled port visit from 18th to 22nd October 2023.

Finland is honored to receive an international Ally for a port visit. The United States Navy’s guided-missile cruiser, USS Normandy, will moor at Hernesaari port in Helsinki on September 19, 2024. The vessel will not be open to the public.

The American guided-missile destroyer USS Roosevelt visits Helsinki on the weekend.

Chief of Staff of the French Navy, Admiral Nicolas Vaujour visited Finland on 6 March 2024.  The visit was hosted by the Commander of the Finnish Navy, Rear Admiral Tuomas Tiilikainen.

The commander of the United States Sixth Fleet and Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO, Vice Admiral Thomas E. Ishee will visit the Finnish Navy on Monday, 19 June.
