Firings notice

Finnish Defence Forces will detonate decommissioned explosives in Hukkakero in Kittilä 13-29 Aug 2018 daily between 08:00 and 22:00 hrs.

The Danger Area is Selkä-Mäntypää - Paartoselkä - Leppäkumpu in West, Leppäkumpu - Katajaselkä (excl. road) - Iso-Vitikko in North, Kittilä - Sodankylä - municipal border in East, Tarpomapää - Selkä-Mäntypää in South. The height of the dangerous area extends to 4,200 metres. Unauthorised entry into and movement in the dangerous area is forbidden. .

The detonations are carried out by Finnish Defence Forces Logistics Command.
